Last week I was talking to the Fed Ex Driver at work. As always I got on the subject of Dogs! He was going to buy an Australian Sheppard. I almost yelled “NO”. But instead I composed myself and explained the benefits of adopting and that there were rescue’s for all sorts of breeds. I showed him the pictures of my dogs and how wonderful saving them felt. He came by yesterday and made a point of coming in to let me know he’s been scouring the rescue sites and will definitely adopt. I jumped up and hugged him. At that moment my boss walked by and made the comment “do you always hug the delivery drivers!”
